    How long does it take to start and complete a project?

    The Project timeframe depends on the scope of work for which the client is requesting.

    Do you need a permit to pour concrete?

    Yes! All Cities around the New Braunfels area requires, permits for concrete services. If you live outside the city limits in the county, you are not require to have a permit.

    What is the timeframe to recieve an estimate on my project?

    From the time we come out and measure your property we will turn them around within two business days. Please note depending on the work load our estimators might take up to four business days.

    How long does it take for the concrete to harden?

    The concrete will be harden within a few hours but it take concrete takes 28 days to fully cure. During this time concrete is considered “Green” and needs time to fully cure and harden before you place or build any structure. During the time it is the client responsibility to water the concrete slab (once a day in winter months and two times per day in summer). By watering you help the curing process, by maintaining the concrete at satisfactory moisture and temperature conditions to allow hydration to continue. Continuing the hydration process allows your new concrete to cured and obtain the strength and durability for years to come. To keep cracking from occurring please stay off the new concrete for a minimum of 7 days. If you walk on the slab before 7 days, then you can mess with the integrity of the finish work to the slab. For example, walking across the slab can cause scraps in top finish work.

    What type of concrete finishes can we choose from?

    The most common type of concrete finish is known as a "broom finish". A Special soft broom is pulled across the concrete surface creating a rough textured surface.

    Other types of finishes can include textured, smooth trowel, stamped, exposed aggregate, and salt concrete finishes.

    Do we get a choice on the color of concrete?

    Standard Concrete will be a grey or white finish depending on what the concrete plant is using at the current time.
